Kids Event May 17th

We are helping with an event May 17th at The Shores on Richland Chambers Lake and are providing FREE Kids activities - Archery, Target Shooting (BB Guns), Bank Fishing, and Casting Contests. We are need of some volunteers to help run the stations. Anyone interested? There will be FREE food all day as well. I can be contacted at Jennifer@AdventureTeam.com

Ray Roberts Lake State Park�s Lantana Lodge Has New Concessionaire

PILOT POINT, Texas — An international resort company that owns Dallas’ famed Southfork Ranch was the highest bidder last week at an auction to take over of Ray Roberts Lake State Park’s Lantana Lodge. The previous concessionaire at the park, Nature Leisure Times, LLC, had been in bankruptcy for more than a year.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS FISHING REPORT September 2006

The past few weeks we have found some really AWESOME Topwater
Schooling of Whites and Hybrid Stripers off the Hwy 309 Flats and
the Main Lake Areas between Ferguson Point and Fisherman's Point
Marina. The fish move around quite a bit so from day to day the area
may change, but you always seem to have some good action from around
Sunrise to Late morning.

School has started again, the Afternoon Temperatures make it too Hot to
Fish, and the Calendar certainly reflects both. We had an extremely busy
first two weeks of August, and the fish were VERY COOPERATIVE on days we had
a nice 10 MPH Breeze, but we've now got more days open than booked. The good
news is that it's not long before Fall and the Temperatures will be down to
some nice 80's instead of the 100's.

Richland Chamber Fishing Report July 4, 2006

Fellow Fishermen & Fisherwomen,
Although we don't normally fish as much on a Holiday Weekend, we had both Boats out Saturday & Monday AM. With the low water level, most of the Local Homeowners can't get their Boats out of thier Boat Houses, and this coupled with the threat of Showers had the lake Traffic down to a minimum. I believe there were fewer Boats on the Lake yesterday than on a normal Weekend. Sure is nice to have a 45,000 acre Lake almost to yourself on a Holiday Weekend! :)
